The Royal Wedding

In some way or other the royal wedding of  Prince William and Catherine Middleton on  29th April 2011 does have some effect on us....the normal beings.   I am always  on the watch out for the royal specials which are shown on certain astro channels until the big day on friday.  Since small my sisters and I  like to read and looked at their pictures in Woman and Woman's Own magazines.  The british mags really respect their royal family.  So tahulah sikit-sikit sejarah mereka.  I still remember in one of those mags they featured pictures of  food the Queen take with varieties of sauces in the sauce boats  (tht's what it's called isn't it?), and the pictures at Sandringham Castle where the Queen's whole family celebrate christmas every year were wonderful to look at.

Through pictures we follow the growing up years of the princes and the princesses of the royalty....  how good looking was Prince Andrew in his teens and Prince Edward the cute one.  We got to see in pics the wedding of Princess Anne to Capt. Mark Phillips in 1973 and the memorable fairy tale wedding of Prince Charles to Diana in 1981 we got to see it telecast live on television.  The wedding pics of Charles and Diana were fabulous in Woman's Own and I was extremely upset when a cousin borrowed it and her daughter cut out the pictures to add to her scrapbook without my permission..........auwwwwwwwwwwww!  It is still not the same when you can get all the wedding pics in the internet today.

Come next friday...29 April 2011 I'll be sure to book the front seat in front of the telly to see the proceedings of the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton...
